Christ calls Nephi aside and gives him what power? What does he ask the people to do? What does he ask them to stop doing? How would following these commandments bless our lives?
What are your feelings after reading this? How would feel if you were there at that time, with the choices you have made now? Would you take some time to repent first, or run up to him knowing you were worthy? :)
This is an exciting read :) what can you remember from Samuel the lamanite's prophecy of Christ's death? Make a list of all the events that happened, including the messages from Christ. How was it for the people who survived? How might you have felt had you lived through this?
The Nephites have rid themselves of the gadianton robbers, but what problems are they facing now? How do we cause these problems for ourselves sometimes?
The nephites are going to go through what is called the Prode Cycle. Draw a graph, or another form of illustration, that documents this rise and decline, citing the years and how long they would stay righteous before falling again.
We already know how dangerous the robbers are going to be to the people of Nephi, but what specifically is so dangerous about them? When have we seen similar things? The robbers were successful in hiding their wicked deeds, but what truth are they forgetting?
