Was the church failing or prevailing, or both, in chapters 3&4? What is your reasoning? What affect can you have on the world around you? What is one thing that you feel you can do better to influence those around you for good?
I am so sorry this is so late. I wanted to still out it up for those who check it in the mornings and for those who need to do makeup work :)
Helaman 1-2
What happened after pahoran died? Who took over? Who is kishkumen and gadianton? What foreshadowing do we receive in the end of the chapter about gadianton?
After the next few battles ensue, there will be prisoners of war taken on both sides. Moroni makes an attempt at a trade, what happens with the trade? How do the nephites end up getting their people back? How could keeping the commandments have helped the lamanites in this regard?
Yes there are a lot of chapters, sorry! But worth every word! What happens to Alma? What choice does Moroni give the nephites? Is this too harsh? Why would he make that decision? How does amalickiah become king of the lamanites?
I am not sure yet if we will have seminary tomorrow, but watch the blog and your email :)
Your reading for tonight is:
Alma 34-35
What does Amulek teach about the atonement? How does the 10 commandments help bring us closer to Christ and teach us and prepare us to accept the atonement?
